This was a very special project on commission. A friend of my mother asked me to drawing her grandchild. With plaisure! I decided to work exclusively with water-colors. Eventually, the background I dared to go with mixed green tones. And I think, it matches quite well and it’s beautifully modulated.
The painting was a present to the little boy’s 2nd birthday to the whole family and it’s already hanging to wall and got – of course – a special place. To be honest, it was also special for me. So far I hadn’t painted a little child’s portrait. It was so much fun! And I look forward to painting more children.
